Yes, again with the Pokemon. Upon visiting Burger King the other day I found that they have Pokemon toys, it’s somewhat old news, so that’s why I’m not making this post about that. It’s actually about the interesting offer I got with my cute little Turtwig toy.
Dedicated fans probably are aware of the closing of the PokemonCenter website, a hotspot for Pokemon toys, hosted by Pokemon.com. It was closed for reasons not clearly known. Though it’s spectulated they weren’t making the designated sales.
Anyhow, you can find the new official place to buy Pokemon here, http://pokemonstore.viz.com/ , Though it’s not nearly as good as the pokemoncenter site was. Either way, interesting deal going on, buy $20 worth of stuff and get a free DVD. So if you’re a die hard Pokemon fan, I recommend this deal for you. The ad I have says this will be offered until next year, isn’t that nice of them?

What’s with these delays in getting english Fullmetal Alchemist manga? The next one, volume 17, is not set for official release until October 22, 2008! Many months between the last volume…
The only thing I can figure is that they were producing the manga too fast and they want Japan to get back ahead of us. Still, I really miss the great series…

Hey, any of you in Japan? Lucky! Okay, okay, anyways, if any of you still take interest in Pokemon, make sure you don’t miss out on seeing the newest movie in the theaters, “Giratina and the Boquet in the Sky - Sheimi!”
Now I’m not really a fan of the television series, but I would go just to see that cute little Sheimi! It’ll be out this weekend, go see it!

I feel it’s my duty as an obsessor to tell you so.
The next novel came out today, though I’m sure it won’t hit the bookstores for a few more days, it seems there’s always a delay. But it might be avalible online, so fans, check on it. The first book in the series (Released March 19) was titled “First Kiss” and this one is titled “Chevalier” and features Haji on the cover.
I recommend this series, “First Kiss” was really good, I had it finished a day after I got it! Can’t wait to get “Chevalier”. The other day I also discovered one of those unofficial fanbooks for Blood+ that will be coming out in September. You should look for it too. Strange how new Blood+ stuff keeps popping up, eh?
I forgot to mention the second volume of the manga version of Blood+ came out a few weeks ago in early June. If you don’t have that, be sure to get it, it’s awesome!

Good news for those of us who are fans of the manga Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Del Rey soon be publishing the manga in english! The date is still unclear but definitley look forward to it!

Unlike the first movie that could be viewed in select theaters for one day, unfortunately, Viz is releasing the second Naruto movie “Legend of the Stone of Gelel” straight to DVD. You can get your copy though on July 29, 2008.
Haven’t heard of it yet? Let me fill you in. Who remember the popular anime magazine “NewType”? If you didn’t visit the webpage for it, you may not know that they’ve stopped producing it! I was sad too, I really enjoyed that magazine. But they didn’t completely give up on us because they’ve given us a new magazine called “PiQ”. Now it can’t get too good, PiQ doesn’t focus on anime, but rather all types of animation, entertainment, and modern Japanese culture. Even though I am a true blue anime fan cat, I do reccomend this magazine, it is quite good!

Broken Wings

Today I am reviewing what I and many others consider one of the most beautiful anime endings of all time, “Broken Wings” from Trinity Blood. It is quite unusual but it is completely in English though the singer is definitely Japanaese, so that’s nice for us English watchers. I think almost all the animation of Trinity Blood is quite amazing and this ending is no exception, the snowy landscapes just add to the beauty of the art.
