I probably should have done this post before the movie was in theaters, which was June 11, 2008 in select theaters. But I’m doing it now for those of you who are like me and didn’t get a chance to actually see it. I kind of, sort of forgot about it, heh. But no need to fear, many anime fans did see it and kindly wrote reviews and summaries for all of you.
I read a few reviews myself and there were mixed feelings on the movie. Some were thrilled and some found much to be improved. But how much can you expect out of an anime movie that doesn’t have anything to do with the main plot of the series like the Fullmetal Alchemist movie. Interesting if you want to get away from the main plot though. I would have liked to have seen it.
