Watch Fullmetal Alchemist tonight, right after Bleach on Adult Swim. Ah, just like the good old days. Next thing you know they’ll be showing Case Closed and FLCL and such again. 
And maybe even Blood+…. I would die of happiness XD

I assume the first live action didn’t do so well in the theaters because the second one is going straight to DVD and is expected to be released late this year or early next year. Haha.
Finally the long await Gen Con blog! Well, no one reads this so… Yeah… XD;
We got there pretty early, not much of a line to wait in to get our event badges unlike last year. Then we found out we couldn’t get into the Exhibit Hall, which is where all the stuff to buy is, until 10:00 AM so we had an hour to kill which we just waited around, watched other cosplayers etc. There was an Itachi, some guys from Final Fantasy or something, Ino, Chouji, Tsunade, Jiraya, Shizune, Sasuke, and uhh, prolly more. I didn’t get pics, sorry! They were kind of loud and noisy… Oh and I was there cosplayed as Saya! With 
cosplaying as Solomon!
So when it finally opened up, we began our quest for a certain shop we enjoyed last year, a guy brought a TON of Japanese manga and related anime books. He wasn’t there this year and it SUCKED. But they had plenty of anime stores. Not really anything Blood+ which was kind of disappointing but lot’s of other stuff.
This store had a lot of cute Pokemon plushies, I got some stuff there that you’ll see later in the journal.
The exhibit hall was very big and it took us quite awhile to get around the whole thing. Most of the shops were for card/online RPG gamers. So finding anime shops was a chore. Especially since I was in high heels, which uh, let me give you some advice, unless you’re a REALLY dedicated cosplayer, DO NOT WEAR HIGH HEELS AROUND A CONVENTION. My feet are like soooo dead right now.
Like I said, some anime stuff.
Pokemon was a common thing this year oddly enough.
So after a while of walking around, buying crap, feet hurting, we decided we were done. Since we went today, no anime related events were going on so we just went to the manga library thing for a little R&R.
I was really tired ^^’
So after that, we left. Overall, pretty okay, I can’t really call it fun lol, cept being Saya was pretty cool. Cosplaying as Blood+ is win. For sure. Now I can show you what I got!!

It’s a dream come true, really. In the latest manga volume of Fullmetal in Japan, volume 20, it was announced that a second series of Fullmetal Alchemist is coming in 2009! Now I don’t know about you, but I LOVED the original series, so I can’t WAIT for series 2!
And wait, it gets better! I hear a lot of you like the manga series better? Well this second series is completely based on the manga! I can’t wait to hear Ling’s voice. Hopefully they’ll bring it to America, I mean, why wouldn’t they?
Sorry for the slight hiatus, I got lazy! I’ll have a blog on my adventures at Gen Con up really soon. For now, here’s some other anime news.
Blood+ volume 3 came out, a while back, so if you didn’t pick it up, I suggest you get on it! And let me tell you from personal experience of reading it, it is AMAZING!! It’s the best of the manga so far! I was soooo thrilled when I read it. Loved it to bits!
Next, remember my blog pondering what anime would be next on Adult Swim. Well of course, it turned out to be a crappy one. Morbito is the name. And uhhh… It is… uhh… HORRID. No offense if there’s any fans but… C’mon, Adult Swim, you can put better anime than that!! I really expected a lot ;___;
Okay, I just realized while typing this I’d rather announce the rest of the news in seperate blogs because some of it is pretty big.
