Lucky Star is a very interesting and different anime than I have watched before. Those of you who enjoy action/violence/etc. anime probably won’t find much joy in Lucky Star. It focuses of the lives of Japanese High School girls and there really isn’t a constant plot. It doesn’t sound too good does it? Well that’s certainly not true! I loved Lucky Star!
The reason I chose to watch this anime was from seeing various pictures, the style was absolutely adorable! There also seems to be a character for everyone, but it seems people mainly connect with the main character, Konata, an anime and video game lover and a school slacker.
It’s occasionally funny but very charming all throughout the show. You get a peek at parts of Japanese culture. Plus it is fun to watch the “adventures” of Konata and her friends. Anime fans will also enjoy the many anime references made in this show.
Anyone looking for a cute or funny anime will enjoy Lucky Star!
