“Chronicles a suicidal high school teacher’s dealings with his unruly class and a pathologically upbeat student” is Anime Insider’s brief summary which is accurate. It may sound generic or unoriginal to you but just wait until you watch it! It’ll have you saying “wtf” in the first episode! (In the good way of course)
I recently finished this anime, “Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei” and here is my review. It is not a very well known anime unfortunately, there are no plans to bring the anime or manga to America but you can still watch it with english subtitles at Veoh or YouTube. And I definately recommend watching it too!
I found this anime by a small article in Anime Insider and gave it a chance. I’m sure glad I tried it too! I loved the art style! I’ve never watched an anime with art like that! And it was funny! I guess the best way to describe it would be ”dark humor”.
There seems to be a character for everyone in this story, whether it be the optimistic Fura or the suicidal Itoshiki himself, you’re sure to find a character you favor. The show only runs 12 episodes but there is a second season that I have yet to watch….
So those are my thoughts on “Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei”. Like I said, it’s a good anime and definately worth the watch!

Hello world, the site is now up and running as an anime site! So now I shall introduce myself!
This is me! I am a total anime fanatic! My favorite anime is Blood+ and others that I greatly enjoy are Ouran High School Host Club and Fullmetal Alchemist. Of course I like many others too and am always looking for new stuff to try.

I was asked to do a review after seeing “Meet the Spartans” so here goes.
Overall, I found the movie to be absolutely hilarious! But it depends on your age and how much you know about celebs and things going on. An older person, like adults, may find this movie to be the most stupid thing they’ve ever seen. But to teenagers it’s great!
Now on to some things I liked. The American Idol scenes you would expect to be generic and overused but I thought that they nailed the judges and made it funny! Well, they all were pushed into the Pit of Death so…
Also, you gotta love how they crack on themselves! They know that they’ve made a dumb movie based on “300″ and they take advantage of it and turn it into something funny!
I particularly enjoyed the Ugly Betty and the Paris Hilton parts. Least I not forget the Ghost Rider part which was so random and so funny. They also did spoofs of “America’s Next Top Model”, “Transformers”, “Grand Theft Auto”, and many more. I’m a fan of those movies that make fun of other things 
And what’s best of all, it stayed true to its comedy theme the entire time. There were no emotional parts at the end like most comedies. The woman was not the focus of the movie, like most comedies. It was just plain stupid mindless comedy the whole time which I LOVED!
So if you’re a teenager looking for a movie and you understand modern society this is the movie for you! Adults… Well, you might hate it, you might love it.
